MP7 upgrade

hey guys I have figured a few tricks to upgrade my MP7.
I am going to add a M4 6.04 barrel (got a silencer on it)
new cylinder, new cylinder head, new bushings, upgraded to 9.6v and custom spring, and new spring guide.

If any of you have any other ideas or have done any upgrades to your MP7 could you let me know.

I'm not really interested in your "ideas" about what will happen to my gun if i proceed with these upgrades, unless you have upgraded your MP7. just your ideas on what else can be done

Er... correct me if im wrong, but its an AEP so, I dont see how you can put a 9.6V battery in it. Unless you are going to do that weird suppresor mod from Arnie's.

The gears will be dust very soon with a 9.6...there have already been problems when running stock in full auto.

I've put around 6000 bbs thru my MP7 already and haven't had a problem with my gears and I don't think i will they are supposedly a very well built mech box. Other dudes that I have talked to that have modded their MP7s say not to fret about the gears.

For the new battery I just tapped into the wiring under the top rail ran a wire thru the "vents" at the front of the gun and into my battery sling. no battery on the gun then.

Where are you getting your internal upgrades from?

I was not even aware the following aftermarket parts existed:
- Cylinder
- Cylinder Head
- Spring Guide

well damn ILLusion, I want to be the only one with this stuff..... your question doesn't help me at all

http://www.x-fire.org/aeg/2004other/e.hk.html

No, really if a Canadian distrubitor could get this stuff it's better for all. I would have way rather bought in country

I am using an aftermarket cylinder from a G18C AEP, from the same guys listed above. I haven't had it in my hands yet (coming from HK) but according to a dude I was talking to it is the same if not oh well money not well spent.

I don't think you'll be able to fit a standard AEG barrel in the MP7. I think the hop-up is a lot different.

Redwolf actually has more parts available for the MP7 than WGC does. The only thing I've done to mine is put a socom suppressor on it. What I really want to do is put 3 lasers on it like the predator. I only use it indoors and it's not my primary. Just something to goof around with.

And I don't think AEG barrels will work. I don't remember where I read it though.

Hop up is a little different, the barrel stock won't fit. You have to machine a groove in it but I don't care, i'll just machine it up. I have a laser, RDS, and a taclite on it. it's my indoor primary and I have to say it's a deadly accurate gun the way it is.

Cool dude. Take some pics and write up some specs when you're done with it!
