effective silencer brands?

I need everyone's experience here :

I'm looking for the most noise-reducing silencer brand out there. My MP5K is loud as !*&?% and I want to maximise noise reduction, with a silencer only option (internals kept stock).

Any ideas? Thanks!

Airsoft silencer are mainly for looks and to cover up long innerbarrels. There isn't a specific "brand" of silencer that will make it quiter. Maybe theres something wrong with your gun.

The G&P SOCOM style silencers work pretty well.

For AEG, silencer is fairly ineffective, and mostly used for looks or to hide an extended barrel. The noise from AEG mainly arise from the gearbox, so not much you can do about it.

SM0KIN_JOE, we realize you make parts. Don't overdo it. For someone who owns thier own buisness, you sure can't seem to type woth a damn. If you've bothered to read anything, you would understand how getting parts manufactured and shipped up to Canada from New York causes problems.

Estocade: sorry for that bit of a thread jack, but most of the nise that comes from an airsoft gun originates in the mechbox of the gun itself, which is nothing a silencer can really help. However, when a silencer [I still prefer to call them supressors] is attached to the gun, in my experience, it does help to disguise where the shots are coming from. But if you have a problem in the mechbox that is making a lot of noise, a supressor will not help that much. If at all.

I found KA-King arms silencer to be not that bad. They actually reduced the sound coming out of the muzzle by a pretty good amount. Mind you most of the noise does come from the motor. But damn my ICS m4 looks damn good with one on .

Oh yeah and they are pretty cheap to compared to other types of silencers from other companies (also made out of metal!).

KM Head1950 Featherweight Silencer. Look it up It's very very good. King Arms are fine but a tad too heavy and messes up the balance.

KM featherweight silencers are the shit. Nothing fancy to look at but they do reduce the muzzle pop significantly.
