SR-25 advice
I've finally decided to upgrade my Y&P FAMAS to an SR-25. I'm looking at the G&P SR-25 from WGC, retail $937. The reviews online of the full factory G&P AEG are pretty scant with no real elaboration on accuracy except to mention that it's a ''type 2 long gear box'' on the inside. Can anybody elaborate on the ''type 2 long'' / ''type 3'' gear box differences? And before I get flamed, I already looked through the FAQ's.
Also in my research I've found out that G&P aluminum cnc SR-25 actually came as a kit first for TMs. Although I've only shot them I've really come to trust TM and have virtually no opinion of G&P. What do you guys reccomend I upgrade a trusty TM or take my chances on the G&P? I know it's a alot of scratch but I hope to enjoy for a long time just like my faithful Y&P.
