Inner Barrel Upgrade
WIll the prometheus 500-something mm inner barrel w/6.03mm tightbore fit a
CA M15A4? The site (precision airsoft) says that its for m16/m4 but there was no barrel specifcally for the m15. I thought that the m15 and the m16 were kinda the same gun but im probably mistaken and i dont want to spend $60 on the wrong barrel. Also, are red dot scopes any good/worth it? thanks |

Barrel length for the M15A4 Carbine is 363mm, so you'll have an extended barrel out which you can cover with a silencer/surpressor. Only the M15A4 RIFLE has a 509mm barrel.

I have heard that having a longer barrel and a smaller tightbore results in better accuracy. Would it be bad to have a longer barrel that I have to cover with a silencer? Would it really make a difference?
I play mostly woodland, so now that I think about it a really long barrel may be annoying to hide in a bush, but then again it might not matter. Also, what is involved in installing a new inner barrel? I've never taken apart my mechbox. Is it just as simple as take of the old one and pop on the new one? |

Before you do upgrades, any upgrades, I strongly suggest you go watch a local expert do them. Then you will know what is needed, why it's needed, and if it's needed. Asking on a forum in a different country will not help you achieve your goals.

hmmm.. yeah i think you're right. There's a shop called airsoft extreme near me. Ill go check them out. as for asking in a forum based in a different country, the people here seemed pretty knowledgeable, and expereienced, so why not, u know?

There's a limit on what we can show you in writing.
