(p90 Tr) vs Star g36 (not K or C edition.)
I am an owner of a tokyo mariu p90 tr upgraded with metal bushings and an m100 spring hiting 330-350 fps. My only issue with the gun is its range, which is why i am considering buying a star g36, and that is where i have a question. I need to know if an upgraded g36 to 420fps would (greatly) out range a p90 that is also upgraded to 420 fps. All good upgrading ideas will also be generously accepted.

I would doubt that it would make any real significant change. However the more upgraded the gun is the further the BB will go. Here in Canada AEGs are not allowed to shoot over 400 FPS.
If you have P90 TR I would suggest just changing the Spring in it to the FPS you want and add a longer barrell into it and use the Silicener to cover it up. |

I am from the USA and the highest restriction to springs is an m120 which shoots 420 fps.

your just going to end up hurting someone or pissing someone off shooting that hot with a fully auto. part of being sportsman like is caring about your opponents and all the other people on the field, not caring about winning and ulilizing every advantage to give yourself an overbearing and unfair advantage.

The group i play with shoots at 450 fps! caring for eachother is no issue.

I wouldn't expect a big difference in accuracy. The longer barrel will give you some benefit, but it's not a staggeringly huge difference. What bb weight are you using? At very high velocities, you should be considering .28g+ or heavier. |

I'm most likely going to use .25's because they can be purchased in bulk. Thank you.

Dirty Tricks form the litter box
RedJag here,
My own outdoor plan is just what has been mentioned previously: Hiding an extention barrel under the supressor and upgrading the spring. Most people go Haha! when they see somone trying to use what most consider a CQB specialty item in the field, then zap 'em with what they didn't expect. Actually I'm planning a half extention so I can still get some effect from the supressor, quiet and powerful, If you've got issues of what your suppliers can get south of the 49th, contact one of the the larger Canadian suppiers (007, Rangers, or Double Edge) and have the part (spring) sent courier in a brown wrapper. The G-36 most of the circle I hang with use is the Classic Army model and it readilly upgrades to the velocities your looking at. A fellow tested one at the chrono a little while back doing c.425fps but I don't recall the spring type (it was either a 110 or 120% but "isn't behaving like it"). 8) Any way Lots 'o' luck  |

Conclusion.
For now i have decided to buy this upgrade plan with my P90:
* Systema m120 Spring * Systema Metal Bushings * Systema Standard Ratio Flat Gears * Guarder Polycarb Piston * Polycarb Piston Head with Bearing * Spring Guide Rod with Bearing * Professional Installation * 185$ Along with Prometheus AK47 barrel extended through a silencer. In total i will have all mentioned upgrades + a box magazine (love it) and a red dot scope. When i get these upgrades i'll write a review on this forum. Feel free to post more comments  Thank you. |
