EBB repairs.
Hi, i have a TM Combat Delta EBB. Yeah i know its crap. But i like it anyway. Lately, i accidently inserted a bb with a slight moldling deformation, and it got stuck inside, after cleaning with the rod, there was something wrong, the Popup system had moved and the gun was jammed completely.
In an older thread, a guy was talking about opening his TM m92fs EBB, he never got it to work correctly after. I decided to give it a try anyway, because i had nothing to lose. The pop up rubber ring was turned 90 degrees so i fitted it back into its place and re assembled the gun. Result: The slide lost 90% of its original blowback movement, moving like 5 mm at each shot. The guy with the 92fs had the same problem. this weekend, i found my combat delta in the bottom of a drawer, and i decided to give it a try. So i reopened it and tried to repair it, and it worked, the slide now blowbacks as original and with a little bit of glue, the hop up system hold tight into its place. So if someone want to repair it or get rid of their broken EBB, im willing to give it a try. |

Wrong section, should be in Doctors Corner, but really, I say you forget about it and buy a GBB, oh and never ever put a deformed bb in your gun again.

My interrest in EBB is for cinematic use only. Do you really inspect each bb you put in your gun when it comes from a high grade pack?
Sorry, i did not know about the doctor corner, is there a way to move the thread? |

The mods will move the thread when they see it.
If it was a high quality pack, it shouldnt have had deformed ones in it. Many of the manufacturers (if not all) claim to be top quality and its written on the package. You just have to know what is high quality and what isnt. I have some 0.12's from the UK that say "top competition grade" but are the most deformed pieces of crap I've ever seen. |

I was going to make a similar answer to LUTNIT but I was late for work, hes right a Mod will move it later, as for now it sounds like you did some internal damage with that bb, you might have to take it appart of take it to a local gun doctor to help you find out what is damaged, what needs to be fixed, ect.
I had first thought you had been dumb enuf to reload a pre fired bb, but if it was from a new bag, the manufacture should be somewhat liable for having a bad bb in there.

I've worked in the industry....even "B"-grade movies generally have budgets in the single millions of dollars and employ a SPFX supervisor with a tech or two, a props supervisor with several techs working for him, and in most cases, a licensed armorer. If you truly were making *real* movies for cinematic release, you'd know the people I'm talking about, and would be directed by your AD to contact them to get the stuff you need. Please don't call home movies or class projects "b-grade action movies". It's an insult to people who actually work in the movies. It's like joining the Sea Cadets and telling people you're in JTF2 (or, in your case, the Army Reserves).

Sorry if you are so easily insulted, yeah its f movies, or maybe z movie, i dont really care, its INSPIRED by the B-Style movies, and some of the friends i work with had pretty good success in various local indie movie festivals, places that dont give a shit about mainstream syndicate.

I hope you have the right permits for props. If not, that can bite you real fast.
