KJW Para P.14 .45 Hammer
Hello, I have a KJW para with a broken hammer, used JB weld to re-attach which lasted for about 80 shots. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in these formus that WA hammers are interchagable with slight mods. Now I can't for the life of me find that post. Anyone know anything about this? I would prefer to pick one up in the GTA, so if anyone can confirm that the WA hammers at ASCA would work, that'd be great. Thanks

You're waiting on someone who owns both models to cross compare parts for you.
It seems to me that most WA enthusiasts are not typically KJW owner as the two brands occupy different pricing ranges. Your best bet is to make an appointment with ASCA to come by to see a WA hammer. Bring your KJW to see how the specific parts compare. Nearly all 0.45ca WA hammers have the same functional trigger sear features with the exception of the Prokiller full auto series of 0.45s.

I have to say that after owning a KJ P14.45 that the guarder stainless steel hammers do work, it originally was binding, and took a bit of grinding down of one of the sears on the side, but it works well now.
