Where to buy, what to buy?

Hey guys, just need some help and this is the fastest way to get it. I have done my research but have failed to come to a clear conclusion as to where and where i can't buy from. Canadian retailers i can obviously buy anything from, International retailers i can buy..........Accesories? Basically what i'm wondering is: Am i able to buy anything off of an international retailer providing it is not an AEG?

thanks guys for any help,
Ryan

You can only buy certain things from outside Canada. Basically, if it's a gun, looks like fake munitions or looks like it could be adapted to fire a projectile, it's prohibited. But they can seize whatever they like and the onus would be on you to appeal the seizure and prove it's not a prohibited item.

It's risky to import with no guarantees of anything. There is no guaranteed "safe" or prohibited. You take chances every time.

The safest answer to your question is to buy nothing from outside Canada.

For anything else, even the most stupid little item, you depend on the interpretation of a Customs agent. That's entirely your choice.

no no, if its not a aeg and its not a mag with fake bullets in it, or anything that common sence dosent stop u from ordering, it will be fine. Aeg internals are fine, scopes are fine, rails are fine, ect (99% of time). You cant possibly find everything in canada, but you should always check with canadian wedsites before ordering international, it is usually less of an hassle ordering from canada, and prices are probally same after shipping ect.

You obviously haven't researched the FAQ.

Yes. The good news is that most parts and accessories, including most magazines, can be successfully imported by individuals without requiring a BFL. Examples of things you CANNOT import:

* AEG magazines with fake cartridges (i.e. P90, G36, SG 552 mags)
* Frames, receivers, and metal bodies
* Suppressors and silencers
* Prohibited-length outer handgun barrels (i.e. USP Compact, Glock 26)
* Hand and 40mm grenades that look real

Examples of things you CAN import:

* Magazines for AEGs and GBBs without fake cartridges
* Outer barrels for most guns
* Inner barrels of any type
* Handgun slides
* Flash suppressors
* Scopes, red dot sights, iron sights, lasers
* Rail systems and scope mounts
* Springs, bushings, gears, pistons, or other gearbox parts
* Batteries, BBs, loading tools
* Helmets, goggles, body armor, tactical vests, camouflage

Not saying you cant import that stuff, but I am giving a 100% sure way to not have anything seized if the Customs agent is having a bad day or no coffee.

If you dont want to gamble at all, there's only one solution. The rest? You never know. Agit had mechbox springs seized...

If you want any kind of "guarantee" of getting accessories in to the country, contact one of the many ASC members who run group orders. In the end, the prices they charge aren't much more than how much it would cost to bring them in yourself, and you get the added guarantee of getting those accessories in to the country.
