Sling loop? Toothpick holder? Something to clean your nails? Or mabey its just
there to make people ask that question.

It's an attachment point for the HK 3-point sling.

wouldnt think it would be for a sling it is pretty flimsy and bends with no real force at all
and i suppose flames are a must |

It's for a sling on the real steel. On the airsoft I don't reccomend putting a sling there cause it's flimsy and bends with no real force.

yes, real steel sling mount, and like other sling mounts, when translated from real steel to airsoft they lose most of their strength

isn't it actually to attach the weapon to you vest when you need two hands? ie fast roping
that's what I have read I will try to find the link |
