will a 9.6V 1150 mah mini in an CA AUG a1 fit?

I ordered a CA aug a1 from poweredgeusa.com last week, should be getting here tommorow or monday. Now, i ordered a 9.6v 1150 mah battery from precisionairsoft.net and i got it yesterday. It is about an inch longer than my 8.4v 600 mah mini i already have from my p90. will this fit? or should i go ahead and order the custom aug battery from onlybatterypacks.com, becuase i can go ahead and use the 9.6v in my p90 cuase i got some velcro and i can gheto rig it but i want the aug to look good and want the plate to fit on it. anyone know?
