The newer version of the Guarder New Gen bodies is already fixed. Guarder corrected their mistake. I have both version and yes the first batch is a bitch but the second batch is a breeze no modification or some sort needed to fit your gearbox in. I tried TM, Pro-gear, Hurricane gearboxes and they it fit in the Guarder reciever like Hurricane M16 series metal body. I would love to buy another newer Guarder New Gen reciever anyday if I can find one.

In addition the only difference from the first and second is on the second batch the lower reciever where you should do modification to make a clearance for the hop up unit is already been machined. MadMaxx had that image somewhere where you do that. So if anyone is thinking of getting a New Gen M4 metal reciever make sure to look at that part first. If it is already machined thats the latest version if not thats the first bitch version. Peace!

Sorry to revive this old thread but i didn't find a better place were to ask my question, i would like to know if hurricane or g&p body come with some sort of instruction on how you can assemble it or you must figure yourself were all the piece must go. I would also like to know if there is a best company for m16 full stock or if its all the same thing.
Thanks
