I've actually heard others say that spring causes problems. Who knows, I'll try with and without it.
Redgas... Nope. We have some here in the store but I never really thought I noticed that much of a difference in FPS with it.

Strange...
I know of a TM P226 has only a couple stock parts in it, it shoots 398fps or something. My TM P226 has 150% hammer spring, creation metal slide and barrel, 150% recoil spring and thats it. It chronies 380fps with 0.20's (propane) and so long as its at least 20-25'C out I can get through an entire mag with enough gas leftover to fire maybe one or two shots before a huge power drop. My slide doesn't lock back, even with a full mag of gas and 1 BB and its my guess that my recoil spring is just too strong, going to cut a couple loops off of it. |

Want a good laugh?
I remembered I got a free sample AI Propane Adapter while I was at Operation Safari Strike III a few weeks ago. I found it in my basement in my gear bag, got my torch and pulled the can of propane off and gave it a try. Using propane and the supplied oil that came with the AI:PA, my P226 can make it threw a full magazine plus a few extra trigger pulls but she don't lock back? Maybe I'll cut a couple coils or buy a R.C.C. 130%? Anyway its out ranging my Systema PTW when its got the M90/350 FPS cylinder in it now. I have a tree line in my back yard I can shoot at, when the BB's from my PTW reach the tree line they are just starting to fall. With the P226 they are straight all the way into the woods. Thats sad I'm going to chrono it tomorrow when I get into the shop.

Well, the gun works flawlessly. Took bad the damn slide has a factory flaw in it.
The more and more its shot, the more I see crack forming right in the middle of the top of the damn slide. I guess thats Guarder quality for you. What other options for a better slide to I have? I want something light weight like the current slide.

I just installed a Creation full kit on my 226, installation was VERY painless, the overall finish is absolutly amazing, weight? realistic, but not heavy at all. For the money Id say it was well worth it over that Guarder kit there with the breathing hole...

More like a breathing slit, kinda like a fish.
Anyways, Creation sells just the slide and the outer barrel, in case you want to keep your Guarder lower. No idea how they'd fit together, though.

WGC has been out for ages.
Looks like the only metal kits they have are the Guarders. I emailed Guarder, introduced myself and did some name dropping. Hopefully they will do something for me. They claim to have SUCH good service for defective stuff.

Just received an email from Sabrina over at Intruder Shop (Guarder) and they are going to replace the slide free of charge if I return the defective one.

I have heard Creation is discontinuing their P226 kits, to focus on new releases. Of course this may change if enough people request it from asian retailers like UN, WGC, and RW.

If you want a damn good metal kit try one like this
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=17817 but of course this one needs a hellova lot of machining to make it work. 1 week of meticulus mesurment, filing, cursing. But damn worth it, makes my 226 feel even sexy-er
