CA G36k Takedown Guide.

Hey guys, I've been having some trouble dis assembling my G36k, I'm at the point were I want to remove the lower reciever from the upper, but it won't seem to come out like in the guide I've seen, if someone could make a simple picture guide it would really help >.<

Is the selector on semi? I find it's a LOT easier to get out on semi.

Here's mechbox.com's

and the other one I use (method 2)

LOL, that happened to me occasionally, too. At least the G36's easy to takedown once you remember all (2) bolt/screw, that's one of the thing I really miss about it now that I've switched to a M14.

Yes, the take down on G36's is very easy

Btw, does anyone know were I can order a replacement mag well pin+screw head? It was the first thing to go (oddly enough) on my G36k. I probably tightened it to much, then scraped it against a tree, because the screw head ripped the end of the pin (the part the screw head attaches to). It's still a very tight fit so I'm not worried about loosing the pin, I just need a replacement sometime.

I'm also looking at buying an XM8 body, any one have input on what one is the best so far? I head the GunsWorkShop one is pretty good...

Contact JAFA, the part number is GC-6, the nut and bolt comes as a set. Should be around $11US after shipping, I know all of this because I almost got some from JAFA but my lack of a paypal account stopped me. I'd get two or more, if you can. They're pretty rare in Canada, if you get my drift.

Considering the price, quality and availability of a GWS conversion kit, you might as well get a SRC XM8.
