Replacing all wiring in ICS M4...
Hey all,
So, it's come time to do the next big step on my project ICS. I went to switch the grip on my ICS M4 only to discover ANOTHER item which was never mentioned by the seller. The motor has been swapped for a well used TM EG1000. Things could be worse, I know, but the problem is that the wires aren't even attached to the bottom of the motor. Whatever genius did the swap had merely crammed the wires up against the motor so they would make contact... Anyhow, long story short: - All the wires in the gun are chewed to shit - I want to replace them. - I should find a way to reliably attach them to the bottom of the motor What should I use? I guess it's gotta be thin, but still low resistance... Anyone got any advice? Also, on a related note: - the motor fits VERY loosely inside the grip. The motor plate lines it up somewhat, but how concerned should I be about proper gear contact? It fires alright, but... I have no frame of reference. Also, when I tried to put a standard M4 grip on, the motor wouldn't fit. At all. any idea why? |

Hey if you need stock parts for ics you should chek on there http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/category.asp?catid=22
Basicly they hold in stock most ics parts you can buy the wire kit witch is 16$ http://www.speedytoys.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=535 Other then that you can also do it wour self for cheaper if you got good soldering skillz (could be cheaper also) Myself, i had the same thing with a broken ics and i just ordered my parts from there. It might cost you lots of duty taxe trought. If you can order from airsplat or any other dealer thats has the parts instock could be better trought.
