Do they sell this piece??
(ADMINS: I didn't know exactly where to put this post, so feel free to move it where necessary.)
PREFACE: I have recently installed lots of metal parts on my gun, obviously making it heavier, and I am afraid of a potential failure happening at a central stress point. PROBLEM: On the marui Sig 552, there is a motor-alignment bracket thingy that is connected to the bottom of the gearbox. This bracket lines up the motor's pinion gear and attaches the grip to the rest of the gun. It's a pretty bad design, there are 2 small machine screws which are solely responsible to hold on the grip. And with the weight of a metal frontset, optics, fuly loaded AN/PEQ, and aluminum silencer, there is an increased amount of stress put onto the trigger hand grip, especially during reloading. I've changed my reloading style to combat this as much as possible, but I want to purchase a couple extra brackets just incase anything happens. I looked in the manual for a specific part number, but it is shown as part and parcel of the "gearbox" assembly. I've searched the WGC, UNCOMPANY, and WAR4 parts pages with no luck. Does anyone have any idea as to how I can get a replacement for this part?? ALL leads, advice, or general direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. - A concerned owner, Ryan P.S. I can get pics of the piece if needed, all you SIG guys should know what I am talking about.

Don't worry too much about that.
If it does break get the TM ak motor bracket. Pretty much the same thing, but you will have to cut a little bit out. Really though, don't worry about it. It is stronger then it looks. |

I'm not worried about the bracket tab breaking as much as the screws backing out and stripping the threads in the mount.
I looked at the TM ak motor mount, and I think you're right, with cutting and filing it will fit, but I was hoping to avoid that. I guess if no leads come up I'll have persue that avenue.
