VISITING AIRSOFTER IN EDMONTON - I need Help - Where can i play?
Hi Everyone!
Im Yvan Pagulayan, aka GOLDENCORPS86, 43 yrs of age from the Philippines, a Filipino and an avid Airsoft player here in my home country... Iam a regular member of Team Apocalypse (www.teamapocalypse.ph) visit our site to know more abt airsoft in my airsoft community and country... Anyway, Iam scheduled for a business trip at Edmonton Alberta from July 8 to August 8 2007. May I ask of any information where can i meet fellow airsofters in Edmonton. I would appreciate so much any information: Teams, individuals and their gamesite location and game schedules Contact numbers and Address Filipino Candian Airsofters in Edmonton names. contact numbers gun rentals etc It is always an airsofters dream to play in other sites and most specially in foreign soil... Yup thats the Edmonton one almost everyone uses, theres like 4 teams that haunt the EAR boards regularly.

Keep in mind most clubs here play with velocity regulations that may be a lot lower than what you are used to at home. Many clubs limit AEG's to 400 FPS and under (350 or under for CQC) and 450 and under for bolt-action sniper rifles, but it varies from club to club.

tnx a lot.... low or open fps.. its the game and the people why i got to love the sport!
Yup my team's game site is an open fps site averaging from 400 upto 600 fps... however just love to experience playing the sport in foreign lands.... Help still needed guys! Any Filipino Canadian players in edmonton... |

Nope
Dont think any of the Edmonton clubs have any Filipinos in the clubs, wanna move to Canada (namely Edmonton) and be the first?
We do have our asian representation but not from the Phillipines, not sure why...

The closest I've got to PH was off Spratly Is. when I was based at the TLDM base in Kota Kinabalu. Does that count? Hope to see you in some of our games in Edmonton. There are a few Filipino players in Winnipeg, but that's because Winnipeg has more Filipinos than anywhere else in North America....no lie. (38,000 was the last statistic I saw).
If you ever get out this way, there's an awesome Siopao bakery a block from my house....

I MADE IT GUYS! Tnx for your help... I am regularly playing with great airsofters from Bravo Coy, EAR and ASA...
Edmonton airsofters are very accommodating and very hospitable..not to mention skilled and safe players... These are the reasons why I love this sport... It does not recognize boundaries, race and religion...
