PTW outter barrel - where to buy one?

I'm anxiously awaiting my PTW (~135 more hours to go).

I currently have a Classic Army M15A4 SPC. It's an M16 with a flat-top reciever + M4 length barrel + RAS.

I ordered a M16A3 PTW MAX becuase I love my current set-up. The only major difference is the barrel length. I hear the only way to get a PTW barrel is to order one from a Systema distributor.

AFAIK, M4 barrels won't get past customs and none of the major retailers seem to carry it either (Redwolf has been out of stock as long as I can remember and the other retailers just don't have them period).

Does anyone have experience getting barrels for their PTWs?

i'm not sure if i understand what you're asking for. are you looking for an M16 length barrel for the M16 PTW or are you looking for an M4 length barrel (which it already has)?

I think he wants a m4 length barrel to be more like his CA (carbine m4 length) so ya he'd want an m4 length barrel. Its the M16 A3, so it would already have the m16 length right.

I think the idea is that he wants to have a Sytema replica of his current CA M15A4 Special Purpose. Does Systema make the M4 RAS barrel/handguard?

My M16 has a barrel like the top-most rifle. I'd like to have a barrel like the 3rd rifle from the top.

No, Systema does not make RAS. You'd have to get the real steel. Alternatively, the G&G (or maybe its G&P) RAS is supposed to work as well. Thats the word on the street anyways.

The Classic Army RAS fits a Systema M4 PTW quite nicely.

I'm going to be picking up a DD Omega rail in spring (when it is released)... same price as an airsoft rail. Though, I'm kinda considering an ICS ARMS rail kit..
