It might be a good idea to complete your profile so a local gun doctor can assist you, or at least check the Gun Doctors thread and contact one near you?

Next question, was the CA RIS you bought meant for the 733 or the M4? If you cant find information for the 733, look at how it's setup for the M4 and go from there.

Unfortunately, unless you are rich, few here can travel to California to help you. There must be local airsoft groups?

For your convenience, using Google and the words "airsoft" and "California" brought up immediate hits and groups/retailers in that State.

If you're using a stock TM M733 outer barrel, it's not ever gonna work.

Ever.

Period.

The front sight on the M733 mounts 1/2" farther forward on the outer barrel than on an M4, meaning the front of your RAS will not lock into place on the front handguard ring.

I know because I own both a TM M4 and a M733, and have swapped parts to examine compatibility.

You solution is to buy an adjustable-length M733 outer barrel, a 10.5" (M4 CQB length) or 11.5" (M733 length) one piece outer barrel designed for an M4, or a M733-specific RIS system. An M4 RIS will NOT work with a TM M733.

I have a question that is slightly relevant.

Will a CASV fit on a stock M733 barrel? As far as I know, it mounts on the rails on the receiver, and does not need to lock in place onto a handguard ring. I am considering doing just that for my M933.

Thanks

As long as it doesn't mount to the barrel and free-floats, it will work.

would the G&P M733 RAS Front Set for M4/ M16A2 work for the m733?
