Anything you see in the automotive section will fill the bill, but that being said, nobody ever regretted using the Dupli-Color brand. (No, I'm not connected with the brand or with CTC, but I have done more than my share of metal refinishing in the aerospace sector.) For the black, you could also look at the Tremclad brand (that's the Tremclad automotive paint, not the general-purpose rust paint -- it's usually cheaper than Dupli-Color), but if you stick with one brand and one type (laquer or enamel) you'll get better layer-to-layer adhesion and a longer-lasting finish.
Black is black. Since you'll be covering it with a gloss (candy) color, you'd be better off with a gloss black. Flat paints get flat by adding waxy components, which can make it more difficult for subsequent coats to adhere properly. As for the blue, you'll want the darkest "candy" blue you can find. "Candy" is a term that the sales people should recognize, and it will probably say candy on the can -- "candy" colours are meant to be sprayed over metal colours (usually blue over silver or red over gold) and are very transparent. The clear should also be gloss -- you can get the Parkerized look by spraying "dry" as I described above (preferred) or by wet-sanding with 1200 or 2000-grit paper (if the spray doesn't give the effect you were after). Well I dropped by Canadiantire today during my lunch, and had a chat with one of their automotive \"experts\". The guy told me that this idea will not work, and that the candy blue is a solid blue that will not end up showing black through it at all. To top it off, he also didn\'t have any, and said that they \"probably\" don\'t carry it anyway. He also was telling me that you can\'t get this from a spray paint can at all, it has to be airbrushed or something in that manner. He suggested some random automotive shops to go find what I\'m looking for, although I have a feeling that everything I need is in that damn CT anyway.
