Any ideas here?
I need to have these two items fit snugly on the RIS rail. The current rail is too short and the flashlight over-hangs (I don't likey!) Is there a longer rail that will run along the entire hand grip? What other options do I have? And no i don't want a completely new fancy front end.
(if the remote plug was elsewhere it would fit nice - but it doesnt which sucks) Thanks |

That vertical grip is pretty huge... if you're set on keeping it, move it back one row?
I see you're also using an A1/A2 style receiver with a carry handle; you could mount a bi-level rail on that and mount the light to it (they usually have side adapaters. Bonus is it lets you set up a red dot in a co-witness style setup. Otherwise you are looking at a proper RIS/RAS front end.

you can add a tri rail that simply slides over your outer barrel pictured here:
this is what it looks like mounted: given that your m4 has a short handguard you are limited in rail options, hope this helps or gives you ideas. Last edited by six4; December 13th, 2007 at 18:06.. |
