I'm not sure if it will fit a CA G3 SG-1 but it will fit a TM G3. Also, the battery compartment on a PSG-1 stock is not fully hollowed and will allow for a mini battery or stick battery.

And even getting a mini battery in there is a struggle. So I'd imagine that anything larger, outside of modifying it (I remember seeing on arnies, someone separated the stock and carved a space for a larger battery) it's not going to happen.

You can split the stock and build a new battery inside it, you just can't take it out without splitting the stock again, so no easy in-game swaps. Aquamarine's PSG-1 has a 12v (IIRC) built in, so it's possible. And yeah, fitting the mini's in there is a complicated procedure. I'm going to build mine into it, and just leave it there once it get's going (until I upgrade it)

Why bother splitting the stock? Get a 20C 7.4volt 1350mah LiPo pack in there, it's smaller than a "mini".....if you have a larger spring, get a 11.1v LiPo.

G3 is a 2 pin stock, PSG-1 is a two pin stock, yes it can definetly work but it may need some filing to fit. When i put my CA emtal body on my G3 i had to file down the bosses where the pins go through to get the stock to go on, it will work though.
