Yeah change the battery soon time! Mine came with a 1050mAh battery and I picked up a 1500mAh stick battery off cheapbatterypacks.com and it made a big difference.
On the battery note, crunchmeister, do you discharge your batteries after every game? I've never really discharged mine after games, just left them as they are and charged them up more for the next game. But now that I actually have a nice aeg and a nice battery, I don't want to ruin it =P

I never discharged the battery separately. I would just run the gun till the battery died, then recharge. I never used it for a game (will be playing my first real game in March). I would just take my gun out to a friend's place in the country and we'd shoot it wildly for target practice. That and plinking in my basement.
And mine came with a 1700 mAh batter, if I remember correctly. I could be mistaken. I'll pull it out of its box later and check it out.

Depending on the weather, cold can have an effect on AEGs. At least you have a bastard version of a V3 mechbox in there, so you shouldn't loose an eye to shrapnel.
When you say you're outside, how much outside are you? |

-3 shouldn't throw off your box too much...
Battery properly charged? Run it through a couple of charge/discharge cycles. |

k so I'm a noobz how do I discharge the batt? Can I use the charger? Its funny wen I get bak in inside It runs fine

The grease used to lubricate the mechbox is that thick, yellowish-brown goop. It doesn't handle cold well at all. The goop gets really thick when it gets cold and slows down your mechbox.

If it runs fine inside, disregard my previous suggestion.
Google around for specs to a home made discharger. Basicly includes less than 10$ of parts, mainly a small light, to drain the battery. A couple of cycles may help to properly condition your battery. As for the gun's performance, well, unfortunatly, you get what you pay for I guess... |
