Ours was fairly consistent, light weight and field serviceable. That last bit is the key. I've used a number of airsoft gadgets that break after 2-3 shots or get a round stuck in the barrel and you need nothing short of a grinder and a welding torch to fix it. Huff it out to the middle of the field, lob 3 shots and huff it back.
