I've had this gun for a few months now and being the idiot that I am, I opened it up and took out the ver.3 gearbox to look at it. While putting it back together I snapped off one of the connectors to the motor which I know is an easy soldering fix, the other thing is that the metal selector plate and the corresponding plate on the other side of it (plastic), does not go back in place properly.

When i put it back into the gun and I connect the wire to the motor, the selector switch only fires in semi, which on THIS model, is the first setting after Safe. When I move it down one more notch to full auto, it still only shoots in semi, is there any way to fix this?

So basically the selector plate is not lining up properly with the selector switch mechanism so I only get semi-auto and no full-auto

I've tried removing it and resetting the selector plate numerous times but to no avail

HELP!!!
