I'm inclined to agree with swat13

I'm with swatt13 on this as well. I have an ICS AK74M that did this very same thing and it turned out to be a snapped spring hook on the tappet plate. More than likely I shot full auto without taking a few single shots before putting the gun away. The spring stress over time busted the little plastic hook and that's all she wrote. The gun was new but it was put away for a few months during the winter and when I went to get things ready for the new season everything sounded great but the BB's just rolled out the AEG. Cheap to fix if you can find the right one and have a bit of skill.

most clones suck ass.. yeah they shoot good but the quality is junk and yeah it shoots good but in most cases not for long and the problem is quality and it shooting that hard stock just kills stuff inside. i HAD a JG until it broke alot of shit inside and then a clone M14 NIB caught fire and yes even blew up once the kid put the battery in. even though they dont shoot as high as a JG i think i will be sticking to my actual good branded guns

When looking to Entry level AEG's stick with Cyma/Boyi, JG/Echo1, JLS, HFC.

JG/Echo1 being the better of the group, these brands will do the job for a child who should not have a AEG in the first place.

Maybe a pneumatic spud gun?

Yea dude, most cheap airsoft guns just aren't worth the cost. If you want a less expensive one that will last, go JG/Echo1. It will probably need work eventually but I haven't heard of any catastrophic failures with them. I know it may be a little more than you want to spend, but seriously, add up how much $$$ you've spent on shit that breaks, and I bet you're over the cost of a JG.

Agreed. It doesn't take long to rack up the costs. By the time you get one of these super low end guns fixed and working properly, you could have gotten a JG / Echo 1, or in some cases, maybe even a TM instead.

And I would highly recommend JG myself. I have to JG guns, and they've far outlasted my TM. And in terms of performance, I would rather them right up there with my Classic Army.
