Longer AK Stock
I was contemplating on how I could move to a 9.6v battery in the Ak-47 I just put together, everyone knows it can only take an 8.4v stick battery in its battery tray, however some stocks allow it to fit inside, but most are too short for a 9.6v. SO I am thinking of recreating an Ak stock that is just "1 cell" longer to accommodate the larger battery, besides, Ak variants are all seemingly short for longer armed people like me. Just wondering if anyone else has done this, OR created an alternative solution, give me your opinions/ conclusions.

Most AK stocks are a bit too small to take a 9.6v large. But you can fit a mini one (1500mah), or get one of those nunchuck batteries. My chinese AK wood kit fit a nunchuck 9.6v 2300mah nicely, and that battery lasts quite a long time, with a high rate of fire.
If you want a longer stock, you can get one of those rubber buttpads. Cheers, Alex

Yeah I think regardless I will make a longer stock just for comfort reasons, I see on airsoftparts.ca that there is a custom woodkit to fit 10.8?! how!? it looks no bigger than the regular AK stock, unless these "2/3A" cells are way smaller I am not seeing how it could fit.
And where can I get said "nunchuck 9.6v 2300mah"?

Mine came from:
http://velocityarms.ca/index.php?mai...products_id=45 And yes that stock is for 10.8v mini batteries. No way that it can hold a 10.8 large.
