Dzik and I were discussing these yesterday. They seem really nice and the
kwa scar I've seen is sweet.
My question is this..Using the li-po battery at 30 bbs/sec, would it not wear out really damned fast?
Bearings at 400fps going that fast? Was the piston mostly plastic teeth?
I'm waiting another year to see what they're like longer term. Probably my next gun though.

I to have been looking at this AEG to get,I have heard that a
few of them had problems right out of the box.Are they like the
A&K M249 that they need a little tinkering to have them more
consisstent?.

ive tested its ROF with a few batteries using audacity

FPS was 416~421 with hop up all the way off

Sanyo 8.4v 600mah nicd gave me 15rps = 900 rpm

Morepower 12.8v LifePO4 1600mah = 19rps = 1140rpm

G&P 9.6v large 3300 mah = 19.6rps = 1176rpm

Firefox 9.6v crane stock type battery 2000mah = 19rps = 1140rpm

Firefox 11.1v 1600mah Lipo(Voltage confirmed 12.55v fully charged) = 25rps = 1500 rpm

lipo won hands down, but this thing can eat an entire hicap in 12 seconds provided that you can wind it fast enough.

it also has an interesting hop up rubber, I should write a review on it soon.

Another question regarding rof.
Is there really that much of an advantage between 13bbs/sec and 25? Either is alot of bbs.
And do real steels have that high an rof?

im pretty sure real steel shoots around 700~900rpm thats about 13 bullets a second.

I guess its more realistic with an 8.4v 600mah, but higher the ROF means faster trigger response =\

Actually, it is a big advantage. More rounds in the air in a given time frame means a denser volume of a fire and greater likelihood for a hit.

And about 4 bbs per hit.. at the ROF you are going to be smacking a lot of plastic into people in short order... I have no issue with that.. but I know some people get cranky about being "lit up"

someone mentioned a SCAR for KWA ... any more info on that?

Tys thanks for the Review... If I want photos I can find them.. its information that is valuable.
