Another option, if the spring is non-linear (aka. coils on one end and maybe also the middle of the spring closer together than the rest), is to install the spring with the tighter coils facing the piston instead of the proper way of having them face the spring guide. You could drop the velocity by as much as 30fps, is what I've seen in some testing I've done. Better than cutting coils off the spring; not as good as buying a more suitable spring for your needs.

Pretty sure a JG wouldn't have a non-linear spring :P.

Ok, ill give that a shot, and yeah I'm already going to buy a new spring stalker, to be frank i was expecting my old spring to get wrecked, this was more an experiment then a realistic usefull idea...
