Looking for a battery upgrade for M4 S-System

So im just curious, what is a recommended stock and large type battery for a decent ROF? I'm tired of the poor 8.4 1100 mini battery it comes with held in the RIS System.

Can someone give me links to a nice stock with a nice large battery? I realize i gotta do some rewiring but dont worry about that, i got someone to do that for me.

Get a G&P fullstock and an 8.4 or 9.6 large in the 3000+ mAh range.

I recommend eHobbyAsia for the stock and CheapBatteryPacks.com for the battery.

On my S system i went with the G&P Crane stock. You may want to consider LiPo's in the foregrip.

Nothing can really beat a LiPo for rate of fire if that's all you need.

If you want to spend money repairing your gearbox, go with a LiPo. Otherwise stick with the more airsoft-friendly NiCd or NiMh.

lipo give you the power and fire rate but in the long run it might damage your gearbox

Full stocks with a large are always nice, but it also depends if you prefer the option of the retracting ability. In which case I'd reccomend a Crane.

If that's the one you're getting, there's another one on their site that includes the battery...

Airsoftparts.ca has one with a battery for $170+shipping...which is about the same if you get the stock and battery from ehobby and pay their shipping rates.

He's brought his site down for updating at the moment...it'll be back up shortly.

I second that motion!

I had a 11.1V 1600 LiPo running in that JG M4 S-System of mine.

$137USD=$145CAD (at posted BOC rate...not necessarily the Paypal/CC/etc. rate that you'll get).

Plus customs/duties = ? probably $12-14CAD

Total = ~$160 shipped from ehobby.

The extra couple of bucks for it to be at my doorstep in 2 days vs. anywhere between 4-14days....yup worth it to me if I've got a rifle to build. The peace of mind factor that Duy (Jugglez) is lightning quick on the replies and updates of info, stock and ETAs...to me that factors in HUGE.

So...to me, it's about the same, but I'd agree with you that certainly to others it's not based on $dollars$ alone. I stand corrected.
