Age Verification Removed Due To Trade Dispute

That 'rough' noise could be attributed to motor height. I don't know what model AEG you are working on, Steve, but I'm sure you'll know how to adjust that.

thats what everyone keeps telling me for mines rough noise along with shimming and i seem to have done an ok job on the shimming but it doesnt really matter where the motors at. the noise doesnt change

Yeah I found out in the end its the motor, after the gun seeing 4 different owners and now seeing me, it is now pretty dead, can barely move the gears
And when I put my backup cheapy chinese motor the gun came back to life after the right motor height adjustment. I thought it was the shimming this whole time but it was the TM motor that was dying So now I am left with the option to get either a new stock TM motor or are there better choices? I am guessing the Systema would be the best choice? Last edited by cbcsteve; September 7th, 2008 at 03:03.. |

I was reading one of the guides posted in some of the threads, and the guide mentions that the grey color means that there are small metal shavings in the grease. Correct me if im wrong, but thats what the guide mentioned.

Possible, some greases are just grey though. Clean it all out and re-grease it, that way you know the colour. Also, look for shiny specks in the grease. Another sign of shaving.
