They're too small to put batteries in, but you can custom make the batteries to make them fit. I believe theu're hollow on the inside, and if you look at the tan and black PEQs, they have a lid or somesort..

i think its just a mock up. nvr seen a PEQ-15 in anything but tan so far

You can get batteries in there - there are quite small LiPo's that are about half the size of a traditional "small" battery, yet are 11.1v @1350 mAH:

interesting point. thats prolly the smallest li-po iv seen to date in block form. but judging by the dimensions im doubting that it will fit. it seems just a tad too big:banghead: in the end i think ill convert one to shoot red lasers or something by planting a small laser module under the IR laser cap.
