Depending on the porting of your cylinder and whether or not it is a regular or bore-up cylinder, you can get barrel suck if the length of your inner barrel is greater than the volume of air inside the cylinder.
You can also see the matching cylinder porting and matching barrel length thread. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=18038 Personally I think this is really only an issue with barrels 600mm and up so you should be fine. I also had issues using a bore-up with my 420mm barrel and had to switch back to stock.

I have a JG G36c as well and am wondering how much if any difference you notice with a longer barrel?

I've a JG G36c wich I think has a bore-up cylinder.
I would like to improve his precission and his scope, so I've read that the best way to do this is using a inner barrel. By default my AEG has a 247mm of length barrel. I don't want to change his cylinger. Wich barrel lenght do you think is the better for me??? PD: sorry for my english. |

im not an expert, but i have a 455mm inner barrel and it works pretty well, Im sure there are much more experienced airsofters here who could help you more, but if you decide to go for more then 247mm be sure to buy a silencer to cover it

You can't go longer without changing the cylinder.
If you are certain it is a bore-up, you "could" try about 20mm longer (an inch). Not worth it. |
