Pro-win & gear question

So I have a V2 8mm pro-win and I know Helicals won't fit in it but does anyone know if you can fit Helicals into a PGC M249V3Max?

what?.. since when. i got helical tourq-up gears in my Pro-Win 8mm installed in my VFC 416. they fit fine and run great. i honestly think i got the quietest M4 out there.

im sure helical gears will fit in that PGC M249V3Max. i dont see how they wouldnt.

bummer would have been nice to know that a year ago, a "gun smith" in our area that built a few pro-wins stated they wouldn't fit so all of us that own them decided to never buy a set. Thanks for the info

How in the world could helicals not fit? They have the exact same dimensions as flat gears.

The only gears that might have problems fitting are extremely high torque gears such as:

- Systema Ultra Torque Up
- Systema Infinity Torque Up
- Prometheus Max Torque.

These are the only gear sets that have extra large sector gears, which is what causes fitment problems in some gearboxes. This is also why these gears require half-tooth pistons.

These gears also happen to have helicoil teeth, but grouping it and saying
"ALL helical gears won't fit"
or
"ALL helical gears use half-tooth pistons"
is akin to saying
"ALL ice sports athletes are wussy figure skaters."
