Tokyo Mauri M3 Shotgun pump handle problem
I've had my m3 for a little less then a year and it had been firing perfectly for the entire time I had it. I am by no means gentle with this gun but it showed no warning or deterioration prior to breaking.
The pump handle is able to slide back and forth with no resistance as if someone has half cocked it by accident. The handle will not return fully forward and will not "catch" the spring again as it would normally if someone inexperienced used it. Can anyone give me some ideas? I know my way around aeg's moderatley well but this is much different and just getting to the insides of this has been a challenge and I still haven't been able to dismantle it fully. |

Thanks alot, Think I may have found the problem... A bb jammed in a inner barrell. Would that cause these symptoms? It's jammed in REALLY hard.. I'm thinking I'll have to drill out the center of it to remove it.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure. I've only briefly disassembled my M3, and so I don't really know my way around its internals.
It almost sounds as if it is jammed in the cocked position, which is probably a result of the BB stuck in there since the piston heads won't be able to return to the relaxed position. This means the spring is compressed. Since the spring is compressed there is no resistance to the pump handle, thus it would be very easy to pump. Also, it won't catch the spring, because the spring is already compressed. (well this is my theory anyway). So, getting that BB out could solve all your problems Last edited by Sicyon; November 7th, 2008 at 01:39.. |

looks like I somehow damaged my barrell then the bb's build up tell the nozzell can't move forward anymore since the other two chambers fire.

So my guess to resolve this - where to find cheap replacement barrels for a TM M3 shotty? Last edited by JamesBond_007; November 22nd, 2008 at 02:11.. |

Fair enough, I must have had a case of the snappy's when I replied. Why not get that thing open and some pics taken because I'd like to help. I'd thought I suffered through just about any problem that the M3 could have but deformed barrels seem to be on the menu lately.
You could order a new barrel and hopup assembly from www.uncompany.com but they are a little on the expensive side. |

Yep I noticed that on uncompany I am waiting to see if anyone answers my wanted ad first though. It's quite strange, I'm thinking something foreign must have gotten in the barrel cause theirs no way plastic should have damaged the aluminum barrel. There was also about 9bb's or more jammed in the barrel with the last one being impossible to remove with the cleaning rod so I actually drilled a very small hole in the center with a dremel. I'm lucky my nozzels are fine though cause I was cocking it pretty rough. I'll see if the camera will get a view in the barrel.
