Hi, Im new to the airsoft community but I had a question for the veterans.I know all about the law and how difficult it is to purchase a full metal AEG, but I think some people are asking for too much. I wont point any fingers, but some of the weapons for save in the AV section are doubled. Ex: Some M4 for 350 CAD in the US now 600 to 800 around here, same brand and name. Unless the shipping rate is bigger than I know, or someone is using the ban to their advantages. Please advise.

You can not compare the cost of items in the USA or any where else for that matter to the costs here.

there are import restrictions on these items here.. that serve to essentially double to costs for landed guns from the retailers in Asia and the USA

think of it this way...

If I live in the tropics .. I can pick a mango from a tree for free... so why do I have to pay 2.50 for it here? I mean these things grow on trees.. so they should be free for everyone everywhere right?

If you don't like someone's price then don't buy from them. Wait and watch and see if they lower the price to what you think is fair.
