Change gearbox v2 in v3

Hi all,

I need to know if I can modify an v2 gearbox in a v3 gearbox for AK47. Or if I can modifiy (very ligthly) my AK for a V2 gearbox.

I know the v3 have a small motor in a "box" but can I only add that to a V2 and change the fire selector.

Thank you

Impossible.

Don't even know why you'd want to do that... v2 isn't anywhere near as robust as the v3.

The amount of work required would be much more than its worth and certainly more than anything thats "very light" to do work wise. So Im with ILLusion on this one, its essentially impossible to do and you should just keep the V3 thats in there now.

Is there some specific reason into why you were wanting to switch?

Cause I'm looking for a new gearbox and I don't find a great deal (400fps, reinforced, affordable, ready to fire/assembled)

Uh....then you upgrade the one you have, or buy a reinforced shell.

That's the first thing that normally comes to people's heads, not trying to modify one.

Also, with a V3 it'll likely take whatever you put into it no problem. I've been running a Systema M120 (400 fps) in my stock TM V3 mechbox for a long time now.

Yea but i'm not good with that... the last time I open a gearbox, it never work again and I follow the tutorial

It's why I search for a new one.

But do you think a stock Cyma CM028 will handle a m120 spring or m110. Anyway I question about that but I cannot change it myself so...

Well then find a gun doctor close to you and get them to do it.

It's not just difficult to do - it's literally impossible to do.

well... unless you like pieces of the gearbox sticking out of the receiver. The v2 is shaped very differently from the v3 and will not fit hidden in to the AK receiver with any number of cuts. You will have exposed parts of the gearbox as the receiver is bolted/glued to the gearbox...

Maybe not a list, but you can ask around at game, names will pop frequently.

I know Panzer and Defcon in my team upgrade guns, but they are a bit far from Lévis. Check with the Québec city guys, I'm pretty sure some will be able to help you.
