Cocking trouble with a Maruzen L96
Hi.
I have a relitivly new Maruzen L96, I have pretty much replaced all the internals apart from the barrel and hop. At first it worked amazingly, very accurate and not to hard to cock... The problem I have now is that when I go to cock it the the bolt dosnt lock back, its as if the trigger units Sear is broken or not working. But it apears fine... I have riped it apart and back together again about 20 times now and Im starting to lose the will to live! I have tried both the stock trigger and the new Zero trigger but both have the issue :banghead: Any help would be Great, im allmost to the point of just throwing it away, a few hundred pounds down the drian! Cheers in advance GC Last edited by GasCan; December 16th, 2008 at 16:59.. |

It is because the return spring on the last sear (the one holding the piston) is not hard enought.
You can solve this by disassembling the trigger unit and force the spring a litte, or file the very tip of that same sear. I had that same issue a while ago on my L96. You can also simply lock/unlock the bolt handle rapidly a few times. It will help the sear rotate in the right position. |

Ill try that tomorow, thanks for the help!
Not sure if it will work because I have trouble with the Zero trigger unit as well but hell its worth a try! Cheers GC |

HEHE I was being serious and funny at the same time! When i first got my sniper rifle i took the scope off and put it back on but didnt realize i had put it on to far back so the cocking lever would not go back. kept hitting the mount of the scope.
