JG mp5 sd5 upgrade

Hello friends, i need some advice, i have a mp5 and i will upgrade this gun whit a systema m120 spring, whit metal bushings, chrome cylinder, bering spring guide, eg 1000 motor, stock piston head and cylinder head, half metal teeth piston whit AOE mod and sorbo and will use 0,28 bbs, AWG 14 wire and mosfet.

what do you think that will need to be added in order to run without problems ? what do i need more ?

Sounds like you have more than you need already. To run a M120 you really only need the metal bushings, bearing spring guide, and the sorbo pad and rewire (not really needed but could help).

just make sure your stock cylinder set (cylinder, piston head, cylinder head, nozzle ) is well sealed, then you don't need the chrome cylinder.
It might be off measurements for the other stock parts and get you in trouble, then you'd need another cylinder head, possibly nozzle, possible troubles with the piston O-ring too if the cylinder is too large.

if the stock motor is good I'd get rid of the EG1000 and get a good double-O-ring cylinder head+cylinder from the same brand instead.

Are you talking about Systema magnum motor ? They are so damn expensive but it's really worst for buck.

If I were you, I would choose Guarder Infinite Motor Long which is almost better like systema plus save you a few bucks.

14AWG wire will be a very tight fit in the mechbox...depends on the thickness of the insulation I suppose.

EG1000 will work fine, Guarder Infinite or better motors are gravy. Use a large battery with good cells (i.e. Intellect, GP, Sanyo, etc...). Swap in DEANs connectors. With a rear stock setup on an MP5...consider just simply soldering on the extension or if you're running new wire...minimize any in-between connections.

So many plain old brass cylinders work so well...that I've never felt the need to use teflon/chrome cylinders...but it's up to you.

Swap the hopup rubber and nub as well...tightbore barrels are optional on an MP5 (at least I personally wouldn't bother...but lots of guys put them in anyways).

If you have the Jing Gong high performance motor with blue top (not the black top from DPMS Jing Gong rebrand), it will do fine. I've tested both guarder infinite motor and Jing Gong motor with blue top and they keep pretty well equaly both under a ms110sp

If you want a 120 spring (in god's name I don't know why considering a M90 spring hurts plenty) then all you really need is metal bushings and a good bearing spring guide. Sorbo pad is optional but doesn't hurt.

M1000 motor is a waste of money as the stock motor is good. If you are looking for higher RoF then there are better motors out there.

Buying a new cylinder is a complete waste of cash unless you are planing to fit a longer (or shorter) barrel.

I'd take the money from the cylinder and the motor and invest it in a tightbore barrel myself... but that's personal preference.

Mosfet's rule... In my opinion one of the single best upgrades for a gun. You won't be disappointed. Rewiring is a big pain in the ass though. Get one with a 3 bb burst function... they are fun.

Since you are planning on a 120 spring an O-ring air nozzle is a waste of money. The 120 is going to crank out plenty of power. The O-ring will make a marginal difference.

I'd buy new gears, but, you don't have too. A Prometheus torque up set would work nice (so would a high speed set). The only reason I'd go with new gears is that they will last way way way longer then stock. Really though... they are optional.

To sum up...
required...
M120 spring
metal bushings
spring guide

Good investment
Sorbo pad
Mosfet

Optional
Anything else
