WW2 airsoft games

Hey guys, I was always wondering since I want to do Modern Age airsoft with m4's and all that jazz

But, I also like WW2 airsoft and was wondering.

Are there any games and events for WW2 only battles in Ottawa and Montreal? do they happen regularly enough that it would justify getting a second kit to play them?

Do people use Marushin m1 garands or Dboys Kar98's? or do they stick to thompsons and mp44s.

Had to post here for fear of getting uber-flammed.

People do not generally use the gas-operated M1, though few own it, for fear of losing the ejecting clips in the field.

I don't know if anyone has an MP44 yet, but many have Kar98's and MP40's.
Also, many decide to modify existing guns to create thier own custom WWII weapon.

Awesome responses guys!

Thanks for the info, if I ever buy a trench shotgun or m1 garand or the kar 98 I'll definitely be getting into some of those events!
