Barrel cleaning and accuracy

Shooting indoors at 25 feet with a low cost short barrel bolt-action sniper.
Questions:
1. Does accuracy decline with the number of shots in a shooting session?
2. After how many shots should the barrel be cleaned-with a silicone treated or dry patch?
3. Should the hop-up be low or high setting for 25 feet?

25 feet hop-up wont have any effect at all, I'd leave it off, or on the minimum you can set it to without the BB rolling out of the barrel

Clean your barrel with a mixture of silicon patches and dry patches until it comes out clean.

hop up doesn't set in either low or high. You need to find the perfect spot which gives you a solid straight shot. I advise firing straight into an open area and watching the bbs flight path, get the straightest or even goes up just a touch. that's a perfect setting.

He's got the right of it. Hop up isn't really something other people can do for you, you really have to play around with it and find out what works best for you and for your gun. We can tell you all day about how ours are set, but every gun is different.

I'll second what everyone said and repear what Amos said. At 25 feet, the hopup has no effect. It only kicks in at 50-75 feet out when the BB would normally begin to drop. You can't set in indoors. You need to set it outside at long range.

you can buy them where ever someone buys real steal gun cleaning supplies. OR you can cut out chunks from a very soft cloth.

Canadian Tire. Need to buy separately. Make sure you get the .22cal cleaning kit (about $8) and a box of 100 .22cal patches (about $2).

I fold my patch in three, thread it through the patch holder, twist it in the direction the threads on the rods tighten, then twist it into the barrel all the way down, then twist it back up. Maybe every dozen cleanings I'll use silicon oil on the patch, just as a solvent, but most of the time I just dry swab.
