G&G Metal Upper Receiver on TM SR-16?
I broke a tab off my Tokyo Marui SR-16 plastic upper receiver. Can I swap in a G&G M16 metal upper receiver? Will there be any modding required or any incompatibilities?

Depends on your internals and gearbox shell. Try it out, I'm pretty sure it will work.

Everything is stock on my TM SR-16, so it's a stock TM gearbox shell.

I might be mistaken, but I think you need both upper and lower since IIRC G&G has a different tab design
|

On a Tm upper reciever the tabs lower into the bottom reciever and on a G&G i think the tabs are different....

My G&G doesn't have tabs at the back, it has a little extension at the end of the upper that sticks into the back of the lower. Not sure if there's anything else but I can't check right now.
