Installing a front RIS on an MP5-J : would this fit a battery?
Hi all,
I am in the process of heavily modifying a Cyma MP5-J and want to install some rails in the front for a vertical grip and flashlight. My MP5 uses a small battery located in the current handle (a classic horizontal smooth handle). Would the item seen in the following link fit and still be able to handle a small battery? Would anything else be better (for fit I mean, not quality)? http://cgi.ebay.com/Cyma-CNC-Matte-B...3A1%7C294%3A50

No, with that RIS you'll have to rewire to the rear or a PEQ box or something on the front.

I'd also say yes with a LiPo, but I wouldn't be able to suggest which size...
But probably that to male sure you don't stress the GB too much, a 7.4v LiIon would be your best bet. As for cells layout, I don't have any idea...
