G&G M16A3 Mod Advice

Hey, since im getting my G&G M16A3 soon, i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what i should buy for it.

Accessories/Mods i will be getting:
4x39 scope
bi-pod
little suppressor, probably a 4"

Stuff i want but cannot find:
Rail set that will replace the hand guard
high rise scope rings believe it or not
a good medium range scope?

Modifications:
Open to suggestions! Please.
although, i do not really want my fps going above 400 as this will prevent me from being able to play on some fields. i think.. the gun out of the box has 360 fps.. so.. yeah.. it also comes with a tightbore barrel (6.04 i think..) so i do not really need any accuracy increasing mods either.

So.. if you could help me find out where i can buy those accessories or modifications i cannot find or suggest diffrent ones, that would be awsome, thanks.

NOTE!: i know i could go into the classifieds, but i am not age verified, so.. i cannot!

I would advise you not to do any internal upgrades like batteries and such as it will void your 30 day warranty ( assuming its the clear lower reciever G&G )

I can't see if you're age verified since I'm browsing the mobile site, but all of what you need can be found in the classifieds.

I wouldn't recommend doing anything to the mechbox if you only want to gain 20-30 fps, not worth it.

HK providers will be able to help you with rails et al.

Also, don't ever listen to NoGear. Outside of the classifieds, you won't find m203s, and importing one is not possible.

If you're looking to game with your gun, forget useless accessories like extra rails you'll never need on a long, outdoor gun, supressors, etc. Out of the list of stuff you want, the only useful accessory you have listed is an optic. Get what you NEED to get your gun operation and fieldable first.

Get yourself a large, high capacity battery for the stock. That will not only give you longer battery life, but will also decrease trigger lag. While you're at it, buy a smart charger so you don't kill your batteries with that wall wart charger. And get some low cap or mid cap mags.

For an optic, look around and find something with no more than 4x magnification. Anything more is useless for airsoft, as airsoft guns have relatively short ranges and anything beyond 4x is more detrimental than helpful.

Thanks for the advice. But i just want the rails because i love the look, but not only that, i hate, well absolutely despise the hand guards. I hate them, i just do not know why. but.. that's just my opinion. i also wanted to put a battery box on the side. Just cause i like the look of them.

So, for optics i was thinking maybe an ACOG? or.. maybe a very low powered sniper scope.. but, i want something that looks relatively large. considering the size of the M16, i want to even out the distribution and size of the gun compared to the optic.

best bet... play some games first before buying anything. once you figure out your playing style and stuff, then you'll realize what you might want to get.

For sure. Listen to this man, many people end up selling and buying different stuff after games because they don't play exactly like how their gun is configured to be.

Most the time, the weapon you use will be under your configuration.
You will be using it, not us. We can only tell you if the product is worth it or not, and how it works under one persons view.
You can only tell what kind of accessories you need when playing in a few games.
Some items will not be with your comfortability level if you have not tried it out.
Also, it depends on how much money you're willing to let out.

Best advice, better to get something you need the most to use, than having it for looks.

Flashlight on an M16 is quite pointless, as it's not a CQB gun at all. Grenade launchers are cool, but since they don't actually launch grenade, well... They're not that usefull.

First buy: good batteries + charger. Then, mags. At that time, get whatever your prefer, be it a vert grip, an optic, etc. As Crunch said, nothing more than 4x. And to me, even 4X is too much (except maybe for an heavily upgraded sniper rifle). Personally, a 3X ACOG with docter sight or a 1X EOtech + QD or FTS magnifier is the best. And I'd recommend a good sling, too.

And don't forget good BBs. Metal Tech and BBBastards the the most appreciated here, but there's also Excel, Madbull,... They's often a BBBastard reseller at games, so have a look at your local games to know if it's the case

Um... Since when does putting a battery in your gun void the warranty? I could see that if you installed a new inner barrel, or receiver, ect it would void the warranty but a battery?

Btw to the guy getting the A3 you might want to get a large type battery connector as G&G was smart enough to put a small type in the solid stock... At least on mine they did.
