Hi ! Everyone, I'm planning to get this gearbox for my M4, also I had the systema motor. I don't know if it is possible for me to put two of them together, also I have no idea what is the advantage and disadvantage of it when I put together. I really want to put the systema too, but too bad I'm not gearbox geek, just want to a simple one and easily to install because this one already had rear wired with dean connecter. I just need to take from the box and put into my gun. Any suggestion please ? I saw the gearbox of Zener, just wonder how is it different between him and mine ? Thanks so much for everyone who reading.
Cheers ! KND

Hey KND,
I think the only difference between my G&P box and yours is that you have a dean's connector already wired onto it. Looks like mine might have the standard mini connector installed onto it. m102404: Thanks! I've heard that advice on several different occations so I will definately be looking into a re-shim and some new grease.

[QUOTE=zener;733436]Hey KND,
I think the only difference between my G&P box and yours is that you have a dean's connector already wired onto it. Looks like mine might have the standard mini connector installed onto it. Thanks so much for respond, I've been sitting around waiting for the answer. just another question, before I install this gearbox to my gun. I have to reshimmed and regrease it. Is it really necessary to do or we can just skip it until 1000 or 2000 round? because I never open up the gearbox before. That's why it's a little bit freaking me out if it's broken somehow then Im going to lose 200 $ for not even use it yet. Thanks in advance. Cheers ! KND

I have done neither myself. So I'm planning on sending it in to the local "gunsmith" to have it taken car of. Hopefully you have an airsoft gunsmith in your area who can take a look for you.

So nearly a year later I can finally say the project is complete. Not too say it didn't have issues. At first it would only shoot 1-2 bb's at a time unless I pushed the bottom of the mag up. Then every other shot would cause jamming in the gear box only to be fixed by firing full auto.
So after a little research and some time I figured out how to fix the issues. The misfeeding was due to the magazines' retaining wedge. After trimming a few mm's off that cured the problem. The jamming was due to a weak battery which was like over charged by my crappy old charger. New battery and new charger took care of that issue. So now, finally, after much delay I have a completed project. I also was able to test fire the gun through a chrono last night with surprising results. The fps range is very sporadic ranging from 220 to 445(0.20g bb's). After a few more mags it managed to settle in around 405-421 with an occational drop to 385 and a few times all the way down to 220. Is this normal for a new gearbox to fluctuate this much? Will it eventually settle into a "normal" range? I'm not sure I like how fast its shooting and was hoping it would shoot around 380-395. Using .23's I could proabably achieve this range but its not really a fix. Well here are a few pic's, enjoy! Shot with .23g bb's
