Yeah they are using it you can tell by the shape but I agree the picture is small. The muzzle cap extends more then a normal one and goes onto the barrel.

Jugglez (airsoftparts.ca) had a bunch in stock. He may have some left (he had the real ones, not the Echo1 ones)

Could someone educate me on the purpose/benefit of these for RS Rifles? Keep dirt out of the barrel or something?

Also, they are made of rubber so if you are engaged, you just fire through the cap.

the cheapo plastic ones work for me. Fancy colors and molded rubber = extra expense, especially with how often you lose them, etc.
