try doing that while tickling your mags, not the same at all! airsoft is about realism, running around in civvies and baseball sliding behind a bunker to tickle your mag isn't airsoft, it's speedsoft.

I think hicaps are OK for informal games/skirmishes etc but anything more than that lowcaps/midcaps are best.

Agreed Styrak, I usually use my Hicap for the warmup games, for of a run and gun style, while for the scenarios later in the day, I prefer my Midcaps. I have yet to use realcaps, Maybe I should just try loading my Mids with only 30-40 and see how it goes

I love it with the mp5 7-8 realcaps + the pistol/knife and grenades is all I often use.

I love how people are always trying to find long winding ways to correct problems we already have solutions for.

lol, ya..... i thought of that right after i posted the thread, but decided not to change it. But like i said, I wasnt EXACTLY sure how magazines are set up, so I never thought mid caps or low caps would be any different than the one hicap i saw. Although now, it seems clear.

I prefer low caps, but still have a high cap as a last resort

Same. I am against hicaps 100%, but if shit hits the fan, I'd rather use a hicap than not play.

from the thread title i thought it meant rubber coating on the OUTSIDE of mags, which might not be such a bad idea...

Re: Rubber Coated Mags?
If you coat the outside of a mag, you might have fitment issues especially with mag that are already too tight.
Dipping only the lower half will look ghey! |
