Changing Inner Barrel in ICS L86A2

Pretty sure you'll need a bore-up kit for a 650mm inner barrel.

Well I didn't change anything in the mechbox and I am getting 390FPS with the spring at the last position. This AEG comes with a 630mm out of the box, so a 650mm doesn't make such a big difference. It shows a bit in the flash hidder but is black, you can always cut it.

Just changed the inner barrel on my ICS L86a2....replaced with Angel Custom 6.01 x 650mm and a reaps bucking. Used Teflon mod. 10 shots using .25gram ammo at 150 feet...8.5 inch group....fps is pretty much locked in at @ 419fps. Using Elcan spectre scope also.
Please note that the change was an absoloute BEAR....ICS Had used prodigious amounts of adhesive on the flash hider and this locked in the standard inner barrel. After much cursing...and the installation of a new flash hider...( thanx evike) the conversaion is now complete....just be ready to boil off the stock flash hider and use the longest screwdriver you own to gain purchase between the flash fluting. ( yes its ccw if anyone is confused) Crap that took muscle LOL..... FANTASTIC DMR now...no need to go over bore on the piston sleeve or head....FRIGGING PERFECT!!

I got the same question regarding wich 650mm barrel should i use for my ICS L85A2, I might need some help so I dont buy the wrong barrel.
