Yes, it will fit to any stock TM AK47/AKS/Spetz
however with the AKS you'll need to find somewhere else to put the battery as mentioned above. |

Thx alot kokanee! Discovered the A varient for the carrier.
Also besides that auto back bolt carrier, the Guarder website says I have to modify my piston and piston head? Is that true? or can i use the stock marui piston head and piston.. |

Can somebody confirm that? Because sites like Redwolf do not state that you require the piston and piston head upgrades...

Easy young skywalker. According to CP my bolt just cleared customs on the 7th, I should have it soon and then all questions will be answered. |

there's a video of the blowback bolt in action on redwolf, it's on their custom AK47/AKS74 AEGs, and has a flashvideo link to both of those guarder kits displaying the blowback action, it looked kinda sluggish to me, but maybe it was the camera/video..ete.. lol :P
Some guy who sells airsoft around had an AK come in and said it sounded very nice. |

I can't see why Guarders piston head or piston are required upgrades for the auto back bolt. The upgrade parts are pretty much duplicates of TM stock part dimensions.
I think the bit which pulls the bolt back does not protrude into the mechbox so deep that it interferes with the spring guide. Sorry, if I had an AK I would try one out so I could say whether it was truly a good product. I only carry them for customer demand.

haha yeah I don't have the guarder piston or P.head, but it looks like it will fit to me, i guess i'll have to see, but one thing I noticed is the bolt only blows back halfway only, but i think this is only because of the design of the bolt and how this whole thing works i guess.
but the parts look really easy to modify to fix this if possible. |

I got it and will be modding it on as soon as possible which may take some time... need to ask some guy for help.
I am guessing Guarder is just stating that their piston head and piston is mandatory to encourage you to purchase it together? |

I amagine you actually need it because of the shape... or another brand of piston that's the same... but who knows which one would work.
If you don't have it... and they say you need it... But hey, you may be right, they may just be lying to make you buy more. |

i would not install it! it's not that cool... you loose so much fps, and the *** is, your piston is not built for such hard work...

The piston only pulls the chamber cover rearwards and a light return spring pulls it forwards so the piston can move as fast as it wants in the forward direction.

well for the record, i think a blow back AK is an awesome AEG, a little trade in FPS can be solved by better springs and such
The piece that hooks onto the pistol *silver L shaped rod* is flat on the side that inserts into the gearbox, i assume it is supposed to slip in between the spring and pistol perhaps? I dont see any other way for the gearbox to "cock" the bolt back besides this. and also...would installation of the kit actually be like cocking the bolt back on the AK if u manually pull it as well? too many questions, gotta just buy this thing :P |
