Guarder "Auto-back" AK bolt carrier
http://www.intrudershop.com/show_pro...?idproduct=705 I've been watching this item for some time. Originally I thought you needed to attach it to the piston itself; it seems that's not the case. You do need to chop up you mechbox, though. You also "need" the Guarder Aluminum Piston Head and Polycarb Piston . It doesn't say in the instructions, but I *think" the little hooked "beaver-tail" thingy at the back of the bolt carrier fits through the mechbox and slides into the back of the piston between the spring coils. I'm curious as to how it doesn't hit the spring guide, though. Luckily, Guarder is offering pre-modified TM mechboxes. http://www.intrudershop.com/show_pro...?idproduct=722 Here's some info on how it works: Also, it seems like the new Guarder conversion kits now include the "auto-back bolt carrier" as a standard item: http://www.intrudershop.com/show_pro...?idproduct=717 Retailers? We (we as in ME) need some of these....

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=16438 The auto bolts are in stock now. I have 2 black oxide and 2 silver ones. I have the feeling that I should have gotten more. I'm still working out the finances, but I think I should be able to offer them for $77 including GST.

Anyone know if you can still use a stick battery with this installed?

I doubt it would work, there would be friction of the bolt moving back against the battery. |

hi just wondering, can the guarder auto back carrier kit be fitted on to the stock Tm AK47? I want to keep the original look of the AK47 but with added blowback function without converting the exterior to a AKMS/ RPk/ etc.. look. Thx for any help.
