I can see giving someone a couple weeks, but if it goes past 3 I'd be on them, especially if they claimed they shipped it already.

Its the sellers responsibility to keep the buyer up to date, to supply tracking information and to resolve problems if there is a shipping problem. Its also their responsibility to stay hot on the comms to ensure problems get resolved. There is NO excuse for 2 weeks of no comms when in the middle of a transaction. Its irresponsible as a seller. Not having given someone their product since July is a downright rip off.
Agreed. Entirely. It is also why I proceeded after hearing comradepaintball's story. His deal is far more risky then mine, which was over a minor, unexpensive item. I almost feel responsible for being just a bit too patient and allowing an unsuspecting fellow to get ripped off. Hopefully the later won't happen and the matter will be resolved, but still, I'm done with the eternal waiting on lame excuses.

When a seller receive his money, positive feedback for the buyer should be on the way. The responsibility of the buyer is to get the money into the seller's hand ASAP and should solely be judged on that factor.

When a buyer receive the good, idem. If not, I say wait two weeks before firing a PM about concerns. Then two more weeks and boom. Negative feedback. The responsibility of the seller is to get the item in the buyer's hand ASAP . Nothing more, nothing less. And if anything prevent the seller from delivering, then he ought to go out of his way to explain. Simple courtesy.

If comms are good, then that's another ball game entirely.

So Heres an update.... I have emailed him the past two days for a tracking number since he said my package was sent yesterday in the morning but so far no reply.. I will try a couple of more days.. If not I will NOT be screwed out of $1600 dollars............ I will find someone either to pick up my angel or pick up what he was supposed to ship me!! I will pay for the trouble of someone going to his door to collect!!! ..... So hopefullt this doesn't end in my calling the police...... Because I have no problem reporting fruad... I will keep everyone informed...
If anyone lives in his area... PLease let me know if they would collect for me I will pay for your troubles I don't want to be ripped off 1600 dollars..

this is an exact copy of the letter I sent to him tonite:

Hey whats up . I was reading on airsoftcanada and I found out some disturbing with your trading habits ... many people have started a post about you not sending the items what they paid for... I would like a tracking number right away. If I do not recieve one by tommorow . I will be contacting your local police detatchment and informing them of our transaction gone wrong. I am giving you the benifit of the doubt that you sent it and am willing to wait till tommorow before I contact them.... By the way my father is sgt. in the RCMP in cranbrook here and he has no problem in helping me have a quick resolution to this problem. I have kept all the email transactions. plus your phone number and adress and will be giving that information to the proper authorities.. If you don't have this airsoft rifle PLease inform me and send back my angel A4fly to my adress. I will make sure that an officer will call you tommorow night or the following day with a knock on your door. Its up to you. I will not be ripped off.. So the decision is yours.. Thanks Burton Y

He'd likely take you more seriously if you actually spell/grammar checked your e-mail.

Can someone please send me his info via pm? I'm trying to track him down to either deliver on the goods or return my money.
Please also send me a list of outstanding items which you are owed to by Green_Igor and your names. If i get this information I will contact this person regarding his responsabilities and demand that something be done. I dont give a shit about my gears anymore or money. Its become a matter of principle now.

Glad it worked out for comradepaintball, but as someone observing from the sidelines i have to say that REALLY reflects poorly (to put it mildly) on the deals he/she is conducting with the 2-3 other ppl who've been waiting for word for weeks.

As a bystander I can't help but feel disturbed by this, as it seems the whole Feedback system has been undermined (is it me, or are we seeing more and more of these "he only had positive feedback up til now" and then people piping up about problems after the fact?)

Like Freedom Fighter said, people need to stop being so damn nice and start treating this for what they are: business transactions. Unless you wind up in the hospital (or something along those lines), there's just no excuse to not handle transactions, or at the very least inform people about what's going on. I can understand a day or two delay, it happens. But weeks? That's totally unacceptable. That's negative feedback, or at least a neutral if you wanna be nice. But you've gotta warn others about that shit.

Ok, I've tried to contact him at work with the information I received from Lisa but apparently no one by that name works there...
Is there any other way that I can get in touch with him or at least get some one with authority to make due on the goods, or at the very least return my money?
Its really frustrating...

I think i'm currently dealing with the same person...

i found him on a paintball forum, selling a G36K and an MP5A4...

I just realized it's the same guy. I was going to trade up a slick autococker for the A4, but now I'm skeptical...

Anyways, Wildcard, here's an email address that I've been talking to him with...

green_igor@videotron.ca

Hopefully that helps you get in contact???
